Nikole Silva
Director of Clinical Education & Training
EMS Instructor II, NRAEMT
Nikole Silva joined Guardian Elite Medical Services in August 2024 and currently serves as the organization’s Director of Education. Since stepping into the role, she has led the redevelopment and modernization of the company’s EMS education programs, helping enhance both the quality of instruction and the student learning experience.
Born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, Nikole began her journey in EMS at a local magnet high school, where she earned her EMT certification in 2016. She later obtained her Advanced EMT certification in 2017 and has worked in Emergency Medical Services throughout the Las Vegas Valley ever since. Her experience includes special event medicine, inter-facility transport, and 911 emergency response operations. Prior to transitioning into education full-time, Nikole served as a field preceptor for EMS interns and actively assisted with EMS training and mentorship beginning in 2021. In 2022, she earned her EMS Instructor certifications through the Southern Nevada Health District, further solidifying her commitment to developing the next generation of EMS professionals.
Nikole’s passion for emergency medicine began at a very young age. Inspired by medical documentaries and emergency medicine television programs, she originally planned to pursue a career as an emergency room physician. However, after stepping onto an ambulance for the first time, she quickly discovered her passion for prehospital emergency medicine and knew EMS was where she belonged. Today, she is dedicated to sharing that passion with future EMS providers through high-quality education, mentorship, and hands-on training. Outside of EMS, Nikole enjoys exploring local coffee shops and restaurants throughout Las Vegas, watching true crime documentaries and medical shows, and listening to Indie and Folk music. One of her favorite local treats is Double Stuffed Cookies and Cream ice cream from a neighborhood ice cream shop.
