Q: How physically demanding is this course?

This class is taught entirely in the classroom. There will be a combination of lectures and hands on skills. Students may be required to get on the ground to treat patients and participate in team lifts. Students are not required to perform any skill they are not physically capable of performing.

Q: Does this course include CPR/AED?

We can include CPR/AED. When you register for the class you will have the option to add on CPR/AED.

Q: I am an EMT, Paramedic, Nurse, Physician, etc. Will this class be boring?

We do not believe so. This course will serve as a review to your already established base knowledge and will build upon that. In addition, Wilderness First Aid will teach you how to think differently in an austere environment. We will also use your expertise during the class to lead those that do not have as much experience. This course has been approved for CME credit. Please ask your instructor for more information.

Q: I am having trouble with a certain skill. How many times can I come to that specific module?

You can attend each module as many times as you want! If you struggle with a certain skill or module you can attend that module as many times as you need in order to be comfortable. Our goal is to make you succeed in becoming an EMT.

Q: When Does The EMT Modular Program Begin?

We are launching the EMT Modular Program on September 1, 2024. You can choose which month works best for you to begin the program and expect it to start the first of the month you enrolled in. For example, if you are registering for the October class in the month of September, please expect the course to begin October 1st for you.

Q: How Much Is The EMT Modular Program?

The Modular EMT Program will cost $1999.00. For those who prefer a more flexible payment structure, the program also offers an installment plan costing $2,300.00 with a $550.00 deposit that is required to enter into the program. This plan allows students to spread the cost of tuition over several payments, which can ease financial pressure and make the investment in their future more manageable. Both options provide valuable training, but the installment plan includes an additional fee to accommodate the extended payment arrangement. The installment plan is structured to span a period of four months , allowing for manageable, scheduled payments throughout the duration of the plan. We offer weekly, biweekly, and monthly payment plans.
