  Enroll in and complete a qualifying GEMS EMT program (Modular EMT or EMT Bootcamp), with all tuition paid in full by Day 1.

  Meet all academic, skills, attendance, and clinical requirements for course completion.

  Attempt the NREMT up to 6 times within 6 months of your course completion date, following GEMS’ remediation timeline.

  After a 3rd failed attempt, complete an approved $250 NREMT Refresher (reimbursed by GEMS) to qualify for attempts 4–6.

  Maintain professional conduct and comply with all testing, documentation, and deadline guidelines.

Take the NREMT

Test at an approved center. You have up to 6 attempts within 6 months of course completion to earn your NREMT.
